The Orange County Free Clinic (OCFC) is having a very special Dedication Ceremony in memory of two incredible women, Sandra D. Speiden and Carole J. Roddy. The ceremony will take place Thursday, May 17 at 5 pm. Snacks and light refreshments will be provided. This event will take place in the patient waiting room at the Orange County Free Clinic. This celebration and dedication ceremony is open to the public.
The patient waiting room will be dedicated to Sandra D. Speiden. Sandra was a kind, welcoming woman known for her warm smile. A 45-year resident of Orange County, she owned and operated a 1500-acre dairy farm with her husband Bill Speiden. She was an animal lover, activist, archeologist, and philanthropist.
Carole J. Roddy, an OCFC founder, long-time board member, and volunteer nurse, passed in 2014. To honor her commitment and passion of the free clinic mission, the Carole J. Roddy Women’s Wellness Program and exam room will be established.
The naming of a program or room at OCFC in honor of, in appreciation of, or in memory of an individual is a special way to celebrate a person’s life and legacy. If you have any questions regarding “naming opportunities”, please contact Alyson Hodge at (540) 672-3530.
The Orange County Free Clinic is dependent upon the financial support of its community to continue their mission to provide the highest quality medical care, counseling services & prescription assistance to the uninsured residents of Orange County.
